The Kuala Lumpur Royal Malaysia Police College was officially
launched on July 10th, 2004 by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, the
Honourable Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who was also the Internal Security
Minister.

In the early stages of its inception, the college was known as the Kuala Lumpur
Senior Police Officer's College. It's main mission, then, was to provide
training for Senior Police Officers of the Royal Malaysia Police.

In 2004, the college was renamed as the Kuala Lumpur Royal Malaysia Police
College. Its mission was expanded to provide training not only for the Senior
Police Officers but also the other ranks.

Today, the College enters a new era, emphasizing on the development
of high quality human capitals that is knowledgeable, competent and integrity. |
