The Kuala Lumpur Royal Malaysia Police College purpose-built campus offers excellent world class facilities, including a library, rsidential halls, auditoriums, Moot Courts, Mock Casino, lecture halls, sporting facilities and state-of-the-art technologies that provide students with complete learning environment for academic, research and recreational pursuits.

The setting up of the RMPCKL library is in tandem with the existence of this college where its roles and responsibilities are vital as the centre of knowledge management which provides global information related to policing. It also acts as an important element to materialize this college as the centre of policing training which is world class. The RMPCKL library is situated at the second floor of the college main building.

The RMPCKL library is headed by a Librarian (S41) and assisted by the Assistant Librarian (S27), Senior Assistant Librarian (S22), two Junior Assistants (S17) as well as three General Office Assistant (N1).

With its humble beginning of 5,000 copies, the library has now various collection of printed materials numbering to 47,000 copies which include project papers and seminar papers from course participants, journals, magazines, government related documents as well as audio visual materials. The RMPCKL library uses the ILMU System (Integrated Library Management Utility), in its working process such as cataloguing materials, the process of borrowing and returning, books, seeking information as well as digitalization in the process of documentation project papers, magazines and newspaper cuttings. Besides that the library also uses the index system Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCD) that is the Dewey Decimal Classifition (DCC) in its work process.
